Patrick Mears

Property Manager & Business Owner

From a very early age Pat decided that he wanted a career in real estate, so much so that he commence his real estate Certificate of Registration while still at High School.

Pat then went straight to work in the real estate industry at an East Maitland real estate office. Starting off as a junior he gained a wealth of knowledge from the senior property manager who had over 25 years experience in the industry.

The business was sold and the new owners promoted Pat to a Property Officer managing his own portfolio. Under the guidance of the department manager, he quickly gained experience in all facets of managing a property for the property investors including repairs and maintenance, ingoing and outgoing inspections, routine inspections, and conflict resolution.

After a couple of years in this position, Pat decided it was time to challenge himself and accepted the role of Property Manager at a Newcastle office. Having succeeded at this challenge Pat decided to try for a change of pace and was successful in accepting a position at a Singleton office working behind the scenes of the property management department.

However, after filling the role of Property Manager while a staff member was on annual leave, Pat knew it was time to start his next challenge of starting his own Property Management business. So, in 2010 Rubix Realty was born.
